Carrie Olivia Adams and Leila Wilson will read from and discuss their recently published books of poetry.
Carrie Olivia Adams lives in Chicago, where she is a book publicist for the University of Chicago Press and the poetry editor for Black Ocean. She is also the author of Intervening Absence (Ahsahta 2009) and the chapbook “A Useless Window.” She will read from Forty-One Jane Doe's.
Leila Wilson works at the School of the Art in Chicago, where she runs the Writing Center and teaches literature, essay writing, and creative writing. Her poems have appeared in Poetry and A Public Space, among many others. The Hundred Grasses is her first book.
