Gaël Faye visted 57th Street Books to discuss his most recent book, Small Country (Prix Goncourt des Lycéens). He then shared thoughts on one of his favorte books, Hadriana My Dreams, in the short video for the store.
About Gaël Faye: Gaël is an author, songwriter and hip-hop artist. He released his first solo album in 2013, with his first novel following in 2016. Born in 1982 in Burundi to a French father and Rwandan mother, Faye moved with his family to France in 1995 after the outbreak of the civil war and Rwandan genocide. He currently lives in Paris.
