About the author: Jessie Kanelos Weiner is an American illustrator, author, and food stylist based in Paris. She creates breathtaking images for for international clients including Nespresso, Conde Nast, Free People, Pinterest, Abrams, Instagram France, Penguin Press, Harper Collins, Rizzoli and Hachette among many others. Her watercolor illustrations has appeared in publications like Vogue, Tmag, Resist!, Gather Journal, Cherry Bombe, Le Nouvel Observateur and M Le Magazine du Monde. Jessie writes a popular blog about her life in vivid watercolor called thefrancofly.com. Her book Edible Paradise: A Coloring Book of Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables (Universe) intricately explores the edible plant kingdom. She has also published a handful of cookbooks with Editions Marabout, an imprint of Hachette Livre. She is a professor at the Paris College of Art.
 
About the interlocutor: Rebecca Plotnick is a Paris Photographer and Blogger of Every Day Parisian. You can find her photography at Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Papyrus as well as her own website. Rebecca is a Chicago local but still considers Paris “home.” When Rebecca isn’t traveling to Paris, you can find her at a coffee shop with friends or at her local dance studio.
