Micah Uetricht, Tariq Goddard, and Sarah Hurd will discuss Mark Fisher's k-punk and other writings. A Q&A and signing will follow the discussion.

About the author: Mark Fisher (1968 – 2017) was a co-founder of Zero Books and Repeater Books. His blog, k-punk, defined critical writing for a generation. He wrote three books, Capitalist Realism (2009), Ghosts of My Life (2014), and The Weird and the Eerie (Repeater, 2017), and was a Visiting Fellow in the Visual Cultures department at Goldsmiths, University of London.

About the interlocutor: Micah Uetricht is managing editor of Jacobin and author of Strike for America: Chicago Teachers Against Austerity (2014). He is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

About the interlocutor: Tariq Goddard is an award-winning novelist and was a co-founder, with Mark Fisher, of Repeater Books. His most recent novel is Nature and Necessity (2017).

About the interlocutor: Sarah Hurd is an essayist, podcaster and multimedia journalist based in Chicago. She produces podcasts, videos and articles for Midwest Socialist media.
