Jane Averill Community Reading Day 2019

 

The goal of this event is to further strengthen community support for local public schools. By bringing community members into Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms and having them read the book to small groups of children, The Jane Averill Community Reading Day hopes to forge connections of support and encouragement that will extend far beyond this one-day reading event. Last year, we brought 510 books to 510 children in local public schools. We hope last year's momentum will help us achieve a similar goal this year. 

 

You can help make this goal possible by purchasing a copy of Jabari Jumps for the reading day. Each book costs $11.20 and will be given to a child on the reading day.
